Jacob Factor: Teacher, Performer, Composer, Writer

For many people who want to learn to play an instrument, they seek out a performer to teach them. While these players may possess skills which allow them to perform well, they may have no knowledge or understanding of how to teach you to do it. The best balance is someone with deep knowledge and experience in both music performance and teaching. For over twelve years, I have taught music at all levels and performed in a wide variety of settings on several instruments. I am also a PhD candidate in music education, so I know quite a bit about teaching music!
